This C.E. involves learning about the Interview Informed Synthesized Contingency Analysis (IISCA) method for determining the function(s) of repertoires of challenging behavior. This C.E. opportunity requires listening to Session 1 of The Behavioral Observations Podcast, in which Dr. Greg Hanley in interviewe d on the IISCA approach for functional assessment. There is 1 Type 2 Continuing Education credit earned for participating in this event.

Objectives of this training:

  1. The learner will be able to distinguish the Interview Informed Synthesized Contingency Analysis (IISCA) from other Functional Analysis methods.
  2. The learner will be able to state at least two defining characteristics of the IISCA approach to Functional Analysis.
