RESOURCES

I have been extraordinarily fortunate to work with some great sponsors and affiliates*, so I have created this page to highlight what they have to offer. Please consider checking them out if you are in need of their products or services.

Chartlytics

Chartlytics is the brainchild of co-founders Rick Kubina and David Stevens. Rather than attempt to describe what they do in my own words, this statement on their website sums things up quite nicely:

We believe the "learner knows best," and it is our privileged responsibility to adapt educational materials to our learners' needs. We do so by precisely measuring behavior, judging the outcomes of the performance intervention on a standard chart, and make changes if the data tell us an adaptation is in order.

If you really want to challenge your assumptions regarding measuring behavior and interpreting data, I strongly recommend checking out the workshops they offer. I recently attended a 2-day workshop, and I was ready to make changes in my practices as soon as I got back to work.

Not ready to devote that much time to learning about this stuff? No problem, check out this resource page, where listeners to the podcast can get a free 1-credit Type 2 CEU webinar, as well as a free eBook on Precision Teaching. Who doesn't like free stuff?

Operant Coffee

Over the last few years of expansion in our field, I have seen a lot of behaviorally themed products come out, most of which are tools for practice. However, I think Operant Coffee folks really understand the power of primary reinforcement! Check out their mission statement here:

Our mission is to help you serve amazing coffee.

All of our blends are roasted with Fair Trade Certified coffee beans, and made in partnership with Philly Fair Trade Roasters.  Our coffee is made from blends of beans from Central and South America and the Pacific Islands.

Our roasters are committed to "Saving the World" with sustainable behavioral business practices, and during the production of roasting and blending our coffee, they compost, recycle, and limit waste.  This provides us with a product that is not only of high quality, but also environmentally friendly.

As a nod to our behavior analysis roots, we will also provide a fun "operant" fact on every label!

We are proud to help you serve amazing coffee, and to encourage fair trade and environmentally friendly business practices.

I can personally attest to the quality of this coffee, and if you want to see what all the buzz is about (sorry, I couldn't resist that one), click here to pick up a bag. While you're there, use the promo code BEHAVIORCOFFEE to save some money while you're at it.

Britton Behavioral Consulting, LLC

Our Mission: To build the capacity to meet the behavioral needs of the community.

Long time listeners will recall meeting Dr. Lisa Britton, BCBA-D, in Session 29 of the podcast. She is an expert in providing independent fieldwork supervision, both in person, and remotely.

I try to feature products and services that I use directly, but having been certified since 2002, I couldn't do that in this case. However, I have solicited feedback from Lisa's former supervisees, and they were effusive in their praise.

I've also had the opportunity to work with her on a super-secret project and can vouch for her wide ranging knowledge in Behavior Analysis as well as her professionalism. In addition to supervising board certification candidates, Lisa also mentors newly minted BCAB's. For a free consultation to see if Lisa's services are a good fit for you, visit her contact page and reach out.

Thanks for taking the time to check out this page. These sponsor and affiliate relationships enable me to defray the various costs of that come along with podcasting. In other words, partaking in their products and services helps keep the episodes coming out, so if any of these entities meet your needs, please consider looking into what they have to offer.

*Sponsors pay a per-episode fee to be featured on the podcast, while sales of affiliates' goods and services that are referred via the podcast result in a commission.
